SERVICES
Marriage services have long been an event we take great pride in performing. The preface, Declarations, readings, and Sermon. The vows, ring exchange, proclamation and the blessing and registration of the marriage.
The christening and baptism service has become one of the great rites of passage . A christening is a child's first initiation into their religious faith.

The Association closed for the summer on May 16, 2008.

For Christmas, the members also erected a Nativity Scene outside and decorated the inside of the church.
We would like to thank all members of our association for their help during the past year and invite any member of the congregation to become part of this association.
2.) ACW
St. Nicholas A.C.W. was formed in the early 1900’s; it was then known as St. Nicholas Sewing Circle.
At that time a group of Church Ladies would get together weekly to sew for Church sales as well as sewing and knitting for members of the Military who were overseas during the First and Second world wars.
It was later changed to The Church of England Women’s Association (C.E.W.A.). After confederation with Canada and when the Church of England in Canada, became the Anglican Church of Canada, the name of the group became known as the Anglican Church Women (A.C.W.)
The A.C.W. is part of the Anglican Church of Canada, it works within every Province of Canada and has its headquarters in Toronto. The main focus of the group now is to help out the Church in anyway possible by providing Leadership, Social Activity, Fellowship and Financial Aid to the Church and its members.
Our group has 18 members. We help our Church financially through having Garden Parties, Soup Suppers, Fall Sales, Card Games and other events. We also reach out to the sick, shut-in and seniors as well as helping out with the Youth and Sunday School in our congregation. Our Members also help the needy at home and abroad.
At the Annual General meeting of Anglican Church Women on Monday, December 7th the following were elected as executive for 2010:

Vice-Pres: Shelia Thorne
Recording Secretary: Carrie Riddle
Corresponding Secretary: Sue White
Treasurer: Daphne Lockhart
